Not for Sale Available in Audiobook
Not for Sale is an Audiobook!
My narrator, Cara Firestone, has been busy! She finished Not for Sale in record time, and it's available for sale now. It's been published on Amazon, Audible, and ACX. It will soon be for sale on iTunes, too.
Blurb:
Love in Gabriel Mills, TX
Near the small town his brother Grant has moved to, Kiel Helms finds what he thinks is the perfect investment.
To fulfill his plans, he'll have to purchase a farm that became a lakeside property after the state and county built a manmade lake. But Berni Schumaker, the young widowed single mother who lives on the farm with her disabled father, refuses to consider selling the property that has been in her family for more than 50 years.
The bank wants out from under the mortgage.
Kiel wants to buy it.
Berni just wants him to go away so she can focus on the small business she's trying to start and earn enough to get the bank off her back.
Will Kiel be able to change Berni's mind? Or will the feisty single mom put a stop to the billionaire's plans?
You can find the listing at these locations:

Cara Firestone
Again, Cara has excelled in the narration. When I finish Jax's story, she will be narrating that one, too. In the meantime, she's agreed to narrate my Tala Ridge Shifters series. Her crisp clear voice makes it easy to follow along with the story. If you enjoy her reading as much as I did, please leave a comment below for her. (Thank you!)
Jax Helms' Story Update
I've completed eleven chapters. I still haven't made up my mind about the title, but I'll post the cover reveal here when I have the cover completed with the title intact.

Holiday Rescue: The Audio Book Cover Reveal
![]() |
| Holiday Rescue Audiobook Cover Reveal |
The preliminary audiobook cover is revealed on the right.
This is one of the first two books I have contracted to be narrated (books in two different series and narrated by different narrators).
Since I haven't been through the entire process, I'm not sure how long it will take from the time the audio/narration work is completed and the time it is available for purchase. I'll keep you updated!
I'm so excited and hope to have other books in the series narrated, too.
Other News
I am currently working on the third book in The Billionaire Brothers Series. Jax, the oldest brother, is a little different.
He, too, was a SEAL, but he saw even more action than his brothers. Action where he lost brothers-in-arms, men and women who were as close to him as his own brothers.
Now that his brothers are married, and his mother moves from Houston to the small town of Gabriel Mills, Texas, he's feeling a bit out of sorts and decides to hit the road for a while on his Harley.
Even the company he and his brothers own, Helms Security, isn't enough to keep him satisfied. Riding through small towns in Texas, he comes across a single mother with ex-husband problems. Problems that are escalating. Too bad she's not blonde.
I'll let you know when the audiobook is available!

Happy Turkey Day!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
This year, we're having a traditional turkey dinner. Most years, we have a Fiesta Mexican Feast. This comes from my brother who was in the military years ago. When he came home for the holiday, he requested a genuine Tex-Mex meal, since he was served a turkey dinner on the base. This became a family tradition.
However, this year, I've been ill, and my daughter's birthday is Thanksgiving Day. When we were all invited to spend the holiday with her husband's family, we decided to join them, instead of working so hard. We plan to take pies and sides, but the turkey and dressing will be provided.
Is your family going the traditional route, or are you having a special family meal?

New Plans for the Billionaire Brothers
Working Cover: Not for Sale
This is the working cover for the second book in the Billionaire Brothers trilogy. It may change a bit before publication.
Near the small town his brother Grant has moved to, Kiel Helms finds what he thinks is the perfect investment.
To fulfill his plans, he'll have to purchase a farm that became a lakeside property after the state and county built a manmade lake.
But Berni Schumaker, the young widow and single mother who lives on the farm with her disabled father, refuses to consider selling the property that has been in her family for more than fifty years.
The bank wants out from under the mortgage.
Kiel wants to buy.
Berni just wants him to go away, so she can focus on the small business she's starting to try to earn enough to get the bank off her back.
Will Kiel be able to change Berni's mind?
Or will the feisty single mom put a stop to his plans?
I've begun putting together the files I need to get started on the writing of this story. I'm planning a publication date later this year, but specific dates are not yet determined.
Other News
The third book will be Jax's story. It will involve him going undercover to protect his client. The tentative title is Undercover Fiance, but I'm concerned that might be a bit risque, so I'm still working on it.
I hope you are all well and staying safe during this trying time.
Take care and stay well.

Seasons Greetings, 2019
Seasons Greetings!
I fully intended to publish the rest of the Billionaire Brothers series by Christmas. My apologies. Unfortunately, life happened. After some scary health issues, and recentering my life, I've decided to let go of what I can't finish this year and get a good start on it after the New Year.
Another thing that has come up is that my husband, Charles, and I will be moving from Texas back to Oklahoma just after Christmas. We moved to Texas to help our daughter when her husband had a stroke three years ago. He's doing well, and we're excited to move back into our own home.
Especially because it means Charles and I will have separate offices, again. We're both authors, so we tend to distract each other quite often when talking out a plot twist or speaking dialog aloud to see if it sounds right. I think he's as excited as I am. 😀 We both have plans to record some of our works in the future, which will be so much easier in a private office.
Have a blessed holiday!
Take care,

Just Who is Lynn Nodima?
Ready for the big reveal? My real name is Linda Pogue. Lynn Nodima as my pen name.
So, I've been asked, by family members who were rather annoyed that I used a pen name, why I used a pen name. In past years, I worked as a freelance author for Pearson Education, which means I have three computer app textbooks listed in my real name.
To keep the also-bought list (that list of books on an Amazon sales page of other books customers who bought that book purchased) in my fiction from having computer textbooks listed, I decided to use a pen name I've thought about since my teens. A few people have always called me Lynn. My maiden name is Amidon. Nodima is Amidon spelled backward. And that's where Lynn Nodima comes from.
My Background
While my children were growing up, I worked as a waitress, electronics assembly worker, sales representative, store clerk, assistant school secretary, substitute teacher, school bus driver, and fabric art painting instructor. Other activities during those years included Girl Scout Leader, Bible class teacher, as well as reading and writing fiction. And crafts. I've always loved crafting. I homeschooled my two children. My son was homeschooled from sixth grade through high school. My daughter was homeschooled in her junior and senior years of high school.
After my children were grown and married, I decided to attend college. I would have preferred to get a degree in English and minor in History because I have always wanted to be a fiction writer.
However, my husband was not well and needed to stop working for a while. For financial reasons, I decided to major in Computer Information Systems. After years of school, I earned a B.S. in Computer Information Systems, an M.S. in Computer Information Systems, and an M.S. in Education.
I discovered working as a computer programmer wasn't my cup of tea. Could I do it? Yes. Did I want to do it? No. It was too far removed from my dream job: writing! My advice, whatever your dreams, follow them.
Since my children grew up, I've worked as a computer programmer for nearly four years, a college instructor for computer courses for ten plus years, a freelance technical editor for educational textbooks for ten plus years, a freelance non-fiction author of three textbooks, and now, I write fiction. It took me a long time to get back to where I started wanting to be.
Were those years wasted? I don't think so. They give me tons of background material and experiences to draw upon when writing. And if you watch closely, you'll see little bits of these experiences in my books.
Authors, if you have a book in Kindle Unlimited that you would like me to review, email reviewrequest@lynnscleanromances.com.
I look forward to interacting with you. And I love hearing from my readers.
Until later,
