Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
This year, we're having a traditional turkey dinner. Most years, we have a Fiesta Mexican Feast. This comes from my brother who was in the military years ago. When he came home for the holiday, he requested a genuine Tex-Mex meal, since he was served a turkey dinner on the base. This became a family tradition.
However, this year, I've been ill, and my daughter's birthday is Thanksgiving Day. When we were all invited to spend the holiday with her husband's family, we decided to join them, instead of working so hard. We plan to take pies and sides, but the turkey and dressing will be provided.
